Rihanna Tickets – New Album
Rihanna’s fifth album is about ready to make its debut. Loud is on track to be another hot seller on the charts, following in the footsteps of her previous four releases. The 11-track album features a rich collection of songs from the celebrated pop star. Some of the tunes included on the setlist include “S&M,” “Cheers (Drink to That),” “What’s My Name?” and “Raining Men.” The last song on the record is the sequel to Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie,” only this time the rapper takes a back seat and Rihanna picks up the lead.
Rihanna recently spoke about the album, telling fans, “I made sure not to let you down with my music! You guys are always defending me, so now you’ve got some great songs to justify it.” She also noted that she “didn’t want to go backward and remake Good Girl Gone Bad.” See what the new release brings to the table in terms of tracks and get your own pair of Rihanna tickets today from StubHub.
Loud features a few collaborations with other notable artists including Drake who joined the star on “What’s My Name” and Nicki Minaj, who helped out on the track “Raining Men.” In fact Rihanna returned the favor to Minaj, who recently released her debut album Pink Friday. They teamed up for the ballad “Fly.” On her Facebook countdown to the album’s release, Minaj wrote, “I wanted to work with Rihanna for a long time. I’m very proud of her accomplishments; especially since she was born on an island like me. This song is a female empowerment song.” Considering all of the difficulties that Rihanna has faced in the past, especially her troubled relationship with Chris Brown, perhaps this song was the one that suited her best.
Rihanna first established herself as a pop star when she released the hit song “Pon de Replay” in summer 2005. She worked hard to solidify a place on the pop charts and emerged with notable singles like “S.O.S.,” “Umbrella” and “Disturbia.” Her album Good Girl Gone Bad was an impressive dance-pop album and it officially put her at the top of the industry and it featured an array of guest singers like Jay-Z, Timbaland and Ne-Yo. Suddenly Rihanna was a worldwide star, gaining fans in cities across the globe. Her tunes became staples at dance clubs and everyone eagerly awaited for her follow-up effort.
Rated R was another success, peaking in the Top Five of the Billboard 200 chart. It was a darker direction for the star, its arrival coinciding with the news of a physical abuse scandal with her then-boyfriend Chris Brown. Some of the tracks included “Russian Roulette” and “Rude Boy.”
These days everyone seems to know her name, and Rihanna is showing no signs of slowing down. With her new album she looks to gain more fans, and you’ll want to see some of her new tracks performed live on stage. See where she is scheduled to play next and reserve your seat at an upcoming gig.
